Notes:

• the endings are the same regardless of conjugation
• the endings are attached to the stem which is the same as the infinitive without e
• 1st conjugation - the vowel a in the infinitive is replaced by e
• as for irregular verbs, it is necessary to remember the changed stem of the verb

The future tense is used:

• to express a future action or state
• to indicate uncertainty in the present, not in the future
• e.g.: Marco non è al lavoro. Sarà malato. Marco is not at work. He is probably ill
• to express an order, a command
  • e.g.: Lo farai adesso! You will do it now!
